Setting up Yuubee Connect
What does Yuubee Connect allow you to do?
Yuubee Connect is designed for teams, groups, musicians in bands that want to receive tips, or income through a single QR code and then distribute the funds fairly and transparently.
You decide:
How income is shared (equal split, percentage-based, or custom rules).
When payouts happen (depending when you process your policy).
This makes it easy to reward your teams, share income fairly, and stay compliant.
How to set up your Yuubee Connect organisation
Step 1: Setting up your login credentials
On the Yuubee homepage click the ‘Login’ button at the top right of the menu bar. You will see this screen.
Choose ‘I’m new to Yuubee’.
You will see there is another choice ‘I have an account’. You choose this option to login when you have completed your Yuubee account setup - using your email and the One Time Passcode (OTP) that we will send you.
Step 2: Choosing your setup
Now you choose ‘We’re an organisation’. Choosing ‘Im an individual’ allows you to setup a Yuubee individual account on your mobile device; you don’t need to have an individual account to manage a Yuubee organisation, but having an individual account gives you access to all thankyu features.
Step 3: Choosing how you will login
Now enter your email details. This is how you will login to the portal to use Yuubee going forward. After you enter your email details, choose ‘Agree & continue’.
Step 4: Verifying your details
You will receive an OTP by email. Locate this (check your spam/junk if necessary). Enter the OTP and choose ‘Continue’.
Step 5: Choosing thankyu Connect as your organisation type
On the next screen you will see two options. As you are setting up Connect choose this option. Check out how you can enable support for organisations and causes using Yuubee Thrive
Step 6: Setting up your organisation details
After choosing thankyu Connect you can then enter your organisation details, selecting options from the drop down boxes and entering your information when prompted. You will see * that denotes mandatory information.
Organisation type – choose what best suits your organisation:
Limited Company or LLP
PLC
Soletrader or partnership
CIC
Charity
If you are a Limited company, LLP, PLC or CIC then you will need your CRN (Company registration number) from Companies House. You should have this on official paperwork.
If you are a registered charity, then you will need your Charity Number – supplied by the Charity Commission, OSCR, or HMRC for Gift Aid.
Next enter:
Organisation name
Telephone number
And (if you have them)
Your website address
VAT number
Now we need to know who is going to be the Primary Contact - the person responsible for managing your account who will also act as the main point for support, and finally, we need your address.
Once you have completed all of this information choose ‘Next’.
Step 7: Agreeing to our Ts&Cs
Now scroll down to read the Ts&Cs, and check the agreement boxes. You then choose ‘Sign up’
Step 8: You have setup Yuubee Connect
You will now see your Yuubee Connect dashboard.
Step 9: What happens next
At thankyu HQ, we will complete KYB (Know Your Business) checks.
