Welcome to thankyü. We provide a digital tipping, feedback, and rewards platform that allows individuals and organisations to receive, manage, and distribute tips, donations, and feedback, fairly, securely, and transparently.
By using thankyü, you agree to these Terms of Use, along with any additional service-specific terms that apply to:
thankyü Now / Freedom – Individual accounts for tipping and rewards
thankyü Boost – Subscription-based tipping upgrade
thankyü Connect – Pooled team tipping for employers
thankyü Thrive – Organisation-led donations and support
thankyü Pulse – Real-time staff feedback platform
thankyü Club – Exclusive perks, offers, and benefits for members
If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
1. Who Can Use thankyü?
To use thankyü, you must:
Be at least 16 years old or have parent/guardian consent
Use the platform in a lawful and ethical manner
Provide accurate, up-to-date account information
Understand thankyü is a third-party tipping and feedback platform, not a payroll provider
User Types:
Individual Users: Those receiving tips or benefits through Now, Freedom, or Boost
Team Accounts: Employers using Connect for team-based tipping
Organisations and Causes: Groups using Thrive to collect donations and support
Pulse Users: Staff whose performance is recognised via feedback
Club Members: Users accessing discounts and benefits via thankyü Club
2. Payments, Fees & Payouts
2.1 Transaction Fees
Third-party providers may apply processing fees to each transaction. These may be covered by the tipper or deducted from the amount received.
2.2 Platform Charges
For tips, thankyü applies a platform fee per transaction, or users may opt into thankyü Boost for unlimited usage via flat-rate subscription.
2.3 Payouts
Individual users are paid directly to their linked payment card
Organisations (Thrive) receive payouts to their business account
All users must complete KYC/KYB verification before receiving funds
3. Responsible Use
You agree not to:
Use thankyü for illegal or fraudulent purposes
Share or misuse other users’ data or accounts
Manipulate tips, feedback, or payouts
Use feedback (e.g. Pulse) in a discriminatory or punitive way
thankyü may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
4. Data Privacy
Your data is protected and processed in line with UK GDPR.

By using thankyü, you allow us to analyse anonymised platform data to improve services and generate industry insights — never revealing customer identities.
5. Account Suspension or Closure
We may suspend or close accounts if:
Terms are breached
Activity appears fraudulent
KYC/KYB checks are failed or not completed
You may close your account at any time via the app or by contacting support.
6. Limitation of Liability
thankyü does not guarantee tip or donation amounts
We are not liable for third-party issues (e.g. delays, card errors)
You are responsible for declaring your income to HMRC or other authorities
thankyü is not a payroll service
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally.
If changes are significant, we will notify you via the app or by email.
Continued use of thankyü confirms acceptance of updated terms.
